Creating your Crisis Communication Plan: Communicating Change in Our Ever-changing World

The first 4-H Youth Development Summer Learning Series webinar will be Thursday, June 4, at 9 a.m. It will cover Creating your Crisis Communication Plan: Communicating Change in Our Ever-changing World. It will include a panel of several experts and cover managing and communicating through a situation from lessons learned during previous crises. The panel includes: 

Kelsey Olson, Assistant Secretary, Kansas Department of Agriculture

Heather Lansdowne, Public Information Officer, Kansas Department of Agriculture

Meagan Cramer, Director of Communications and Marketing, Kansas Farm Bureau

Jason Hackett, Director of News Media, K-State Research and Extension

The 4-H Youth Development Professional Development Taskforce is planning a Summer Learning Series to help staff working with 4-H Youth Development Programs through challenges and changes encountered in the spring and summer of 2020 and will also provide good knowledge for the future.

Future webinars will be held on alternating Thursdays. Dates are: June 18, July 2, July 16, July 30, August 13 and August 27. All webinars will be at 9 a.m.
