KACAA Awards Scholarships
The Kansas Association of County Agricultural Agents (KACAA) is proud to award three scholarships for the 2021-2022 academic year to K-State students, Chad Hibdon, Carter Minson and Jaeden Werth. Chad is the son of KACAA member Darren Hibdon from the Frontier District. He will be a Senior majoring in Animal Science with an Agribusiness Option. Carter Minson is the son of KACAA member and Watershed Specialist Stacie Minson. He will be a Sophomore studying Feed Science with a minor in Global Food Systems Leadership. Jaeden Werth is the daughter of KACAA member Kurt Werth from Gray County and she will be a Junior studying Animal Science with a Production/Management Option.
Funds to establish the scholarships represent gifts from KACAA members and a transfer of funds raised by KACAA members to support the 2011 Annual Meeting and Professional Improvement Conference that was held in Overland Park, KS.
KACAA members recognize that spouses and children give a great deal of their time in assisting with extension events and activities, and the membership feels it is important to acknowledge these contributions to the organization.
