Come One, Come All!

Submitted by Gregg Hadley

In just a few short weeks, extension and research professionals will be coming from all over Kansas for our homecoming, the K-State Research and Extension Annual Conference 2022. As the barkers used to say, “Come one, Come all!”

This year’s theme is “Connect, Create, and Collaborate,” also known as the 3Cs. We will have three keynote speakers:

  • First off, our very own President Richard Linton has been chomping at the bit to talk to all of K-State Research and Extension.
  • Next, noted speaker and extension fan Jones Loflin will present Creating Your Own Sensible Vision of the 3Cs.
  • Finally, Jeffrey Sheldon, associate director of the Sunderland Foundation Innovation Lab at K-State's Hale Library, will present Learner Engagement Through Future Looking Technology.

You will also be able to engage in university strategic planning, meet with your Program Focus Teams and professional associations, and learn a lot of new stuff. What kind of stuff? How about such things as the 3Cs, communications and marketing, diversity, equity and inclusion, facilitation, career development, mental health, hybrid delivery and much more.

Most important, you will get to reconnect face-to-face with your friends and colleagues, as well as all of our new friends and colleagues who have joined us over the past year. You do not want to miss that opportunity!

Registrations are due October 1. If you have not registered, do so today!
