Grant Development and Management Professional Course - Available Spring 2023
Extension agents and community professionals have learned valuable proposal development skills through Nancy Daniels' Grant Writing course. For those wanting to take those skills to "the next level," Elaine Johannes is offering the eight-week, online Grant Development and Management for Professionals course, January 17-March 22, 2023. Topics include:
o generating fundable ideas,
o project planning,
o budget design,
o evaluation and
o project management.
The overall goal is to complete a fundable proposal by the end of the eight weeks.
Class participants will have the opportunity to interact with other students who are taking the course for credit. Professionals who complete the course will be eligible to earn a micro-credential badge which is maintained by K-State University’s Global Campus. The course will run January 17-March 22, 2023, and the cost is $250. Following the course, Elaine and the KSRE coaching team for the course offer to review grant proposals prior to their submission for a year. Register through K-State Global Campus here.
LOOK AHEAD for the first annual KSRE Grant Development and Management in-person, two-day “bootcamp” January, 2023 for extension professionals and a local stakeholder. Financial support for the in-person, hands-on training in grant development and proposal writing is provided by the Kansas Department of Commerce Division of Community Development.
