K-State MANRRS Wins Six National Awards
Happy Diversity Month!
Diversity Month is a time to recognize and celebrate the beauty of our unique cultures, backgrounds and traditions.
In celebration of this month, the K-State College of Agriculture Diversity Programs office (DPO) and Minorities in Agriculture Natural Resources and Related Sciences Chapter (MANRRS) would like to highlight our attendance at the National MANRRS Conference and Career Expo, April 13-16, in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Zelia Wiley, Assistant Dean and K-State MANRRS Advisor; Summer Santillana, DPO Coordinator; and Lonnie Hobbs Jr., Co-Advisor; accompanied a sixteen-student delegation, that represented K-State at the national conference. Thank you to Ardent Mills and FMC for their partnership and sponsorship of the chapter. The student delegation competed well during the conference, and brought home six national awards.
