Call for Annual Conference Concurrent Session and Resource Fair Proposals

Submitted by Bob Weaber

Our K-State Research and Extension Annual Conference is slated for October 24-26, 2023. K-State Research and Extension is thrilled to invite enthusiastic individuals, passionate educators, and forward-thinking professionals to submit their proposals for this year’s annual conference break-out sessions and resource fair. With the theme, "Game on - Building the Engaged Land Grant of the Future," this event aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange among attendees as we explore K-State Research and Extension’s role in supporting the university’s vision for leading the nation as a next-generation land-grant university.

We are seeking dynamic presentations that explore cutting-edge practices, visionary ideas, and transformative strategies to foster attainment of our shared land grant research and extension mission. Extension educators from across the KSRE enterprise are encouraged to submit proposals for innovative sessions including peer-to-peer sessions. Proposals that seek to build skill sets among team members that are appropriate for transdisciplinary audiences and lead to the development of a more engaged university will be highly valued. Join us in shaping the future of our land grant institution as we embark on an exciting journey towards creating a more engaged and impactful organization.

K-State Research and Extension professionals and departments are also invited to contribute to the conference resource fair. The resource fair serves as a prime opportunity to showcase your projects, products, and services to the entire organization.

Concurrent sessions and the resource fair will take place on October 25. Submit your proposal by June 15.
