Shout Out: Brandy Bruna, Gregg Eyestone and Megan Dougherty

Submitted by Gregg Hadley

The Shout Out this week comes from Gary Fike, Riley County Extension Director, and is sent for Brandy Bruna, Gregg Eyestone, and Megan Dougherty, all from the Riley County office. Gary writes:

"I want to send a Shout Out to Brandy Bruna, 4-H Program Assistant; Gregg Eyestone, Horticulture Agent; and Megan Dougherty, Family and Consumer Sciences Agent, all in Riley County, for their efforts in reaching youth through school enrichment programs.

These three extension employees reached 1,750 kindergarten through 7th graders with school gardens, nutrition lessons, chick embryology, wheat science, butterfly projects, ant farms and tadpoles.

There were 191 programs delivered this spring in 94 classrooms. Congratulations!"

Brandy, Gregg and Megan, thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues and K-State Research and Extension.

If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues who deserve recognition for a job well done, why not nominate them for a Shout Out. Simply send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ksreshoutout@ksu.edu.
