Shout Out: Marlin Bates
The Shout Out this week comes from Tara Markley, Johnson County Extension Director, and is sent for Marlin Bates, Douglas County Director. Tara writes:
"I would like to give a shout out to Marlin Bates for being part of the planning committee for the National Urban Extension Leaders North Central Region Conference.
This was the third time Marlin has supported this engaging, thought provoking and impactful regional conference for our North Central Region Extension staff working in population dense communities. This year’s conference was held on the beautiful University of Wisconsin-Madison campus and occurs every other year opposite the National Urban Extension Leaders Conference which will be held in Nashville, Tennessee in 2024!
Thank you to Marlin and the steering committee for a wonderful professional development opportunity!"
