Camp flyer

Kansas State University’s College of Agriculture is excited to introduce a new opportunity for high school students to learn about amazing career opportunities in agronomy, grain science and food production through the “Feeding Your Future” 2024 summer youth camp. This is a collaboration between the Agronomy and Grain Science Departments in an effort to increase awareness of our degree programs and to encourage future enrollment with K-State Ag. The camp will take place July 16-20, 2024.

• Camp activities will feature Agronomy, Milling Science, Bakery Science, and Feed and Pet Food Science.

• As many as 30 campers will be engaged in hands-on learning during workshops on the Manhattan campus.

• The camp will include a career night for them to make connections between what they’ve learned during the week and the variety of careers available in agronomy and grain science.

Please help us share this great opportunity with potential campers! We are also accepting applications for student counselors. You can find more information here. We are excited to bring this opportunity to campus.

This camp will be hosted through the College of Agriculture Academic Programs Office in partnership with the College of Agriculture and K-State Research and Extension Diversity Programs Office. Please contact Deana Core, dcore@ksu.edu, 785-532-5736, for more information.
