13 Ways to Kill Your Community: A Discussion with Doug Griffiths

Submitted by Jan Steen

Doug Griffiths

The Community Vitality Program Focus Team would like to make those in the KSRE system outside of the PFT aware of an opportunity to visit with, and learn from, 13 Ways to Kill Your Community author Doug Griffiths. We will be hosting Doug on Sunday, June 2nd from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in Manhattan at our spring PFT retreat.

Discussion will focus on what to do with information you’ve collected from communities after you’ve started working with them and how to keep momentum going. We will also have a Q&A session and continue our visit through lunch.

The registration form can be found here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf5dztcUR58SoEIzWhr5fFIciHz1k4TVXPZ71_X47Jtpmzj7A/viewform?usp=sf_link

We will send location details to those registered closer to the date. Please note, registrants not part of the Community Vitality PFT will be invoiced $50 to cover the cost of food and event-related expenses.

It is recommended that you read Doug’s 13 Ways book prior to attending.
