Engagement Feature on Website

Submitted by Gregg Hadley

The Next-Gen K-State strategic plan emphasizes integrating engagement into everything we do. The extension arm of K-State Research and Extension and its extension professionals and volunteers are a very important part of the K-State engagement initiative.

There are, of course, other units at K-State that contribute to the university’s engagement initiative. The Office of Engagement, the Technology Development Institute and K-State 105 are just a few other examples of strong contributors to K-State’s engagement efforts.

Beginning today, www.k-state.edu will feature an engagement tab, which will allow visitors to the K-State website to more easily navigate to information about K-State’s comprehensive engagement efforts and impact. This tab will also connect visitors to the webpages of K-State’s engagement units, like our very own www.ksre.k-state.edu.

K-State is more deeply committed to engagement and elevating extension than ever before. This step further emphasizes that commitment to our system and the public.
