Join us for New Strategies for Community Conversations
Have you ever been curious about your local power dynamics? Considered Asset Based Community Development? How about working with elected officials?
Well, if you’ve ever had an interest in any of these important aspects of community development, you’re in luck! The Kansas Association of Community Development Extension Professionals (KACDEP) have tapped our national and local networks to provide a unique opportunity for our Extension system to learn, connect and grow as leaders!
Join KACDEP for an afternoon of skill building at the Annual Conference Pre-Conference workshop, New Strategies for Community Conversations, on October 21, 2024. Discussions will center on content from the Community Development 101 course presented at the National Association of Community Development Extension Professionals (NACDEP) conference, providing insight into community power dynamics, focusing on what’s strong rather than wrong, and how to engage those in government leadership.
