Call for Annual Conference Breakout and Resource Fair Proposals

Submitted by Mark Wilkins

K-State Research and Extension invites passionate educators, innovative professionals, and visionary leaders to submit proposals for breakout sessions and the conference resource fair at our 2025 Annual Conference.

This year's theme, "Resiliency through Change," challenges us to embrace adaptation, foster innovation, and strengthen our collective impact as we support the university’s vision to lead as a next-generation land-grant institution. We are seeking dynamic, engaging presentations that highlight how Extension professionals are navigating change, building resilience, and advancing our shared mission through new strategies, partnerships, and programs.

Proposals should focus on:

  • Innovative approaches that drive resilience in a changing world
  • Strategies for building skills across transdisciplinary teams
  • Peer-to-peer learning experiences that strengthen collaboration
  • Transformative ideas that create a more engaged, impactful university

Extension educators from across the KSRE system are encouraged to submit breakout session proposals. Sessions that offer actionable takeaways and build skills applicable across disciplines will be especially valued.

Resource Fair Opportunity:
We also invite KSRE professionals and departments to participate in the resource fair — a prime opportunity to showcase your programs, tools, research, and services to colleagues across the organization.

Conference Details:

Concurrent Sessions and Resource Fair: October 22, 2025

Proposal Submission Deadline: June 1, 2025

Help us inspire resilience through change and shape the future of Extension. Submit your proposal today!
