Statewide Office Professionals Retreat

With warmer weather on the horizon, the Regional Directors are planning a special event designed exclusively for K-State Research & Extension Office Professionals. We're excited to extend this invitation to you for a state-wide Office Professional Retreat, where we aim to foster camaraderie, promote engagement, and facilitate learning while providing an opportunity to connect with the various staff and departments on the K-State Campus.
Date: May 21-22, 2025
Join us for 2 days filled with engaging activities, insightful sessions, and opportunities to network with fellow office professionals from across the state. This retreat is designed to develop professional development, build lasting relationships, and create community among our dedicated office professionals.
Here's a glimpse of what you can expect:
- Pre-Tour at the Morgan Family Arena, a new home for Wildcat Volleyball.
- Interactive sessions in Justin Hall and Hale Library, led by campus staff and departments to provide insights into their roles and how we can collaborate more effectively.
- Workshops focused on enhancing office management skills, productivity, and personal development.
- Networking opportunities to meet and connect with peers from other Extension offices, sharing experiences and best practices.
Whether you're a seasoned professional or new to your career with KSRE, this retreat will offer something valuable for everyone. It's a chance to step away from your daily routine, gain new perspectives, and return to your office refreshed and inspired. Although this will be held on the K-State campus, the training will take place in different buildings with different speakers than in 2024, so don't miss out.

All attendees are encouraged to wear their K-State Research and Extension name badge. If you wish to order a name badge, please send an email to Extension Administration, extadmin@ksu.edu. Name badges cost $8.00 and your local office will be invoiced. Please specify name and local unit or department, as well as, whether a magnet or pin closure is preferred. In an effort to have them ready in time for this retreat, orders should be placed no later than May 6.
