Shout Out: Mike Tokach and Bob Goodband
This week the Shout Out is from Joel DeRouchey, Extension Swine Specialist; and is sent for Mike Tokach and Bob Goodband. Joel writes:
"Drs. Mike Tokach and Bob Goodband, both University Distinguished Professors, retired in January 2026, after a combined 69 years of serving K-State in Extension, research, and teaching. Their guidance and expertise on Kansas swine producers over many decades have allowed many of our family operations to remain in business today. Nationally and globally, they are recognized for their excellence in swine nutrition and management. They both had a true passion for helping swine producers and their employees improve daily practices, enjoy their work, and be more profitable. Join me in congratulating Mike and Bob on their well-deserved retirements and on their dedication to Extension over their careers."
