Last Call - Annual Conference Award Nominations
Recognizing outstanding programming and contributions by faculty and staff is one objective of the K-State Research and Extension Annual Conference. This recognition will be the highlight of the awards lunch on Thursday, October 22.
I invite each of you to nominate your peers or yourself for these awards. Award nominations are due Thursday, July 23. Recognition categories, criteria and nomination process are outlined through this link.
I remind you of the four awards that were added in 2014:
• Outstanding Local Unit
• Outstanding County or District Extension Professional
• Outstanding State or Area Extension Professional
• Outstanding Program Focus Team
The above awards added in 2014 are in addition to the awards we have presented in the past:
• Builder
• Diversity
• Mentor
• Team
• Unclassified Employee
• Local Unit Office Professional

Persons and teams recognized through the Research and Extension award process are then also considered for regional and national recognition, as opportunity presents itself.
