Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy - Talk Salina Event
In partnership with Talk Salina, K-State’s Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy will offer Foundations of Public Issue Facilitation, a one-day facilitator training workshop. This workshop will be held on Saturday, March 12, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sunrise Presbyterian Church, located at 825 E. Beloit Avenue, Salina, KS.
The workshop will engage participants with discussion and exercises in best practices for convening, structuring, and facilitating public conversations on civic issues. No prior experience is required. Lunch will be provided for those attending.
A $25 paid pre-registration must be provided by March 7. Registration fees may be mailed to Central Kansas Extension District (CKD), 300 W. Ash, Room 111, Salina, KS 67401. To register, please go to centralkansas.k-state.edu.
