Search Committee Announced for 4-H Youth Development Department Head
A search and screen committee for the position of Department Head and State Program Leader - 4-H Youth Development has been named, and will soon be having their initial meeting. The committee is as follows:
- Gregg Hadley – (chair) - Assistant Director, State Program Leader Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Community Development
- Sarah Keatley – State 4-H Events Coordinator
- Amy Sollock – Area 4-H YD Specialist
- Douglas Jardine – Extension Plant Pathology and local Volunteer Leader for Riley Extension
- Tanda Kidd – Extension Human Nutrition
- Tara Markley – 4-H agent, Johnson County
- Andrea Burns – ANR agent, Ford County
- Becky Reid – FCS Agent, Cowley County
- Jake Worcester – 4-H Foundation President
- Joe Stout – 4-H Foundation Trustee
- Ray Bartholomew – 4-H Volunteer and State Extension Advisory Council
- Mac Benavides – College of Education Recruitment
This national search for the Department Head and State Program Leader - 4-H Youth Development results from the announcement by Barbara Stone of her plans to step down from her department head leadership role about June 30 and to retire from K-State Research and Extension by early 2017.
