Help Us Tell the 4-H Story

Submitted by Jill Martinson

We all would like to believe that the Kansas 4-H Youth Development program is making a life-changing difference in the lives of youth. But how do we know for sure? In this turbulent time of budget constraints, it is more important than ever to have sound data that shows KSRE and 4-H are showing good use of limited financial resources and beneficial for Kansas communities.

Join us by participating in our first statewide 2016 Kansas 4-H Impact evaluation. Data can be collected in each Extension local unit in Kansas from now through June 2016. To get started, visit and read the documents posted on the Kansas 4-H restricted website at http://www.kansas4-h.org/staff-downloads/resources/4h-youth-program-evaluation.html. Everything you need is on this site, including the instrument, forms, letters to parents, etc. This fall, after the data has been analyzed, local reports will be available to share with your stakeholders and the public. Join in and help us tell the 4-H Story!

If you have questions or need help, please contact one of our committee members. We're happy to help!
