Take Care of Your Feet
Do your feet hurt at the end of the day? Recently I noticed that my heels have been very tender. The American Podiatric Medical Association states that there many reasons for heel pain, including too much stress on the heel while walking or exercising, being overweight, heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, and wearing improper footwear. Typically, heel pain is centered under your heel and may be mild at first but then flare up as you take your first steps after resting overnight.
While getting my free birthday treatment at my chiropractor, he suggested stretching exercises for the feet and calves, ice and anti-inflammatory medication. He also suggested more supportive footwear than my flip-flops! Take care of your feet and check with your doctor if foot or heel pain persists.
