Financing the Future of Kansas 4-H Survey
The Department of Planning and Analysis will be conducting a survey for the Department of 4-H Youth Development to gather input to determine the most critical needs for the Kansas 4-H program now and into the future. The survey will be sent to Extension professionals with 4-H responsibilities, including program assistants/managers and office professionals.
Federal and state funding to support 4-H has diminished over the years putting the 4-H program at risk. In order to maintain a high quality youth development program, we believe that it will require a stable, continuous funding stream that relies heavily on external funds. We want your input on the question: If funds were available, how should the funds be used with the goal of stabilizing and growing the 4-H program?
You will receive an email from me on Tuesday, November 1, with a link to complete the survey, which should take less than 15 minutes to complete. The survey should not be shared since it can only be completed by the person receiving the email. The survey closes at 5 p.m. Monday, November 14.
The survey results will be shared at 4-H Program Rally and used for further decision-making. Thank you in advance.
