Kudos to the Youth Development PFT
Extension professionals across the state recently conducted a survey to measure the impact of 4-H on Kansas 4-H members 8 – 18 years old. The evaluation was conducted by the Youth Development PFT and led by an enthusiastic subcommittee of PFT members including Jill Martinson, chair; Candis Meerpohl, Tara Markley, Robyn Dienes, and Kelsey Holcomb. The evaluation has yielded positive results and will be effective in communicating the value of KSRE and 4-H across Kansas.
We recently received recognition for the work from our partners at National 4-H Council. “Congratulations to Kansas 4-H for an excellent report that showcases what we all know – 4-H makes a difference in the lives of young people. I extend my gratitude for your using Common Measures survey tools as the strategy to complete the survey process and share with your stakeholders the impact of Kansas 4-H. You have provided a model for the rest of the 4-H system to emulate and I thank you for leading the way.” Beth Birnstihl, Mission to Market Director, National 4-H Council.
Congratulations to the Youth Development PFT for their focus on measuring the impact of their work!
