Blood Pressure Checks at Annual Conference

Submitted by Healthy You Wellness Team

The Healthy You Workplace Wellness Team reminds you that blood pressure checks will be available during the KSRE Annual Conference. Stop by the Courtyard of the K-State Student Union between 4 and 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31.

The American Heart Association calls high blood pressure a "silent killer." Most of the time there are no obvious symptoms. When left untreated, the damage that high blood pressure does to the circulatory system is a significant contributing factor to heart attack, stroke, and other health threats. While there is no cure for high blood pressure it can be treated and managed.
