Orientation for New Board Members
New local Extension board members are currently being elected. Consider providing an orientation for them before they take office.
A New Board Member Orientation module is available on the Board Leadership website. This orientation is designed to be presented by the local unit director, other agents and experienced board members.
Also included in the module is a sample Notebook for Board Members.
