Cowley County Hosts a Grant-writing Workshop on August 10

Looking for Grant Money

Grants are a vital piece of your community's funding puzzle. Funders and donors will invest in your project if you can state clearly:

• What is the problem we are trying to solve?
• What change is possible?
• How will our organization produce the desired change?
• How will we know we succeeded?

On Friday, August 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Cowley County will host a grant-writing workshop at Four County Mental Health, Conference Room, Strother Field 22214 "D" Street, Winfield, KS. Please note that this location is several miles south of Winfield - halfway between Arkansas City and Winfield.

There is a $15 registration fee which includes lunch and all materials. To register or for more information:

           Online registration: goo.gl/4uYk9Z
           Phone registration: 620-221-7224

What you will learn:
a) Sources of data to document community needs,
b) Where to find Grants,
c) Practicing the elements of a great grant proposal,
d) New partners for collaboration, and
e) YOU can do it!

Please invite the people in your county to participate. It is not unusual for participants to travel two hours to attend these workshops.
