January 2019 is Kansas Radon Action Month

Submitted by Brian Hanson

Governor Colyer has declared January 2019 to be Kansas Radon Action Month (KRAM). The Kansas Radon Program (KRP) has several new radon rescources available at www.kansasradonprogram.org/Kansas%20Radon%20Action%20Month.

Resources include 1) a new statewide radon map, 2) short and long form ready to print news articles, and 3) the Governor's Proclamation. Radon test kits are available through the KRP by contacting Brian Hanson, 785-532-4996 or bhanson@ksu.edu. Radon test kits are $5.50 each. Brian Hanson is also available to schedule Winter/Spring radon public education events.

Thanks always for KSRE's support for radon education and risk reduction activities!
