K-State Event Calendar Switches Entry Systems January 30

Submitted by Garrett Pennington

As many of you know, we will soon be transitioning our K-State events system from Pulse to Localist. The planned date for the switch is Wednesday, January 30.

On January 30, we will migrate all existing Pulse events -- current and future -- to Localist and we will update the event widgets on your webpages during the migration. The event feed on your website will look the same. You will not need to make any website changes.

In the meantime, continue using Pulse as normal through January 29. On January 31, events must be entered into Localist rather than Pulse.

Current pulse users should have received an email invitation to attend training or join the zoom session:

* The next scheduled session is January 23 at 1:30 p.m. (Zoom link: https://ksu.zoom.us/j/4802312256).
* Help documentation is also available.
* Or you may watch a recorded Zoom training session.

Additional training sessions will be scheduled in February.

You will receive an automated email message when your account is created in Localist. Please follow the instructions for signing in the first time.

Please review the help documentation for KSRE Local Units for specific instructions about entering your events.

Questions can be sent to calendar@k-state.edu. --K-State Web Services Team
