Thank You for Your Kind Words and Prayers
For years I have read thank you notes from colleagues following the passing of a family member. One recurring word that has been used in those notes is “overwhelmed.” Now I get it! Thank you to all who sent cards, emails, instant messages, Facebook posts or just stopped me on the street or in the hallway expressing your condolences on the passing of my father. What was surprising is that they came from every program area as well as support staff and retirees. Your kindnesses and prayers for my father and our family are greatly appreciated.
