Shout Out: Aimee Baker

Submitted by Gregg Hadley

This week’s Shout Out nomination comes from the Northwest Region’s Family and Consumer Science Specialist, JoEllyn Argabright, and is extended to K-State Research and Extension Wichita County’s Aimee Baker.

“I would like to submit Wichita County's Aimee Baker for a Tuesday letter shout out. She has helped spread the word about her grassroots grown Simply Produce program, allowing this opportunity to become a regional success. The program, done in conjunction with food retailers and volunteers, helps ensure that people have access to fresh, nutritious produce at a reasonable price and promotes the Buy Local idea. We really appreciate all of her hard work!”

Thanks Aimee, for your work with the Simply Produce program and all the work you do!

If you know of a colleague or colleagues that are deserving of a Shout Out, please send me their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ghadley@ksu.edu.
