DUO--Coming Soon!
Duo two-factor authentication is underway across the K-State campus and will be coming to YOU soon. K-State began implementing the Duo system in January to add an additional layer of protection to the university's data and systems. You've probably experienced similar two-factor authentication if you have online bank accounts. In addition to logging in with a user ID and password, you also need to provide a passcode that is sent via text or other method.
K-State ITS is rolling out Duo in waves. Some KSRE employees have already received notification that they need to enroll. If you have not yet been notified, expect to receive your notification sometime this fall, most likely near mid-October. You cannot enroll in Duo until you receive an email notifying you that your Duo authentication group has been activated. Once you receive the email, you will have two weeks to enroll. Those who do not enroll, will lose access to KSU applications and services.
