Hiring for a Technology Support Specialist III Position for Western Region
Kansas State University is recruiting for a Technology Support Specialist III position to support the western region of the state. The person in this position could be located in Colby, Hays, Garden City, Goodland, etc. An office is provided in Ellis county or working from a home office also is an option.
This position provides Tier II and III support and service restoration for daily operations and projects in a complex, distributed computing environment for the counties in the Northwest and Southwest K-State Research and Extension offices.
The IT Consultant performs a broad range of IT support services: PC and Mac, mobile device, software, and basic network support. Work assignments include troubleshooting for multiple components (e.g. operating systems, hardware, basic network) and integration of components, as well as requiring proficiency with the service bundle (e.g. file sharing, back up, security, etc.).
