February Conference Requests Session Proposals

Women Managing the Farm

Breakout session proposals for the 2020 Women Managing the Farm Conference will be accepted through October 11, 2019. Submissions must include presenter contact information, description of the session, target audience, learning objectives, and hands-on application of information to be shared with conference participants. Proposals should consider addressing one or more of these USDA Risk Management Agency's (RMA) categories of risk:

o Financial
o Human/personal
o Institutional (includes legal)
o Price/market
o Production

Other presentation proposals are welcome. Topics of interest have included community advocacy or development, retail agriculture, social media, household and meal management, agritourism and many others.

Notifications of accepted proposals will be announced this fall. Presenters for accepted proposals will receive complimentary registration for the 2020 Women Managing the Farm Conference, February 13-14, 2020 at the Hilton Garden Inn and Manhattan Conference Center in Manhattan, KS.
