Kansas 4-H Foundation Welcomes Two Fund Development Team Members

Submitted by Rhonda Atkinson

Mindy Weixelman joined the Fund Development Team on September 16 as Vice President of Campaign Strategy. Most recently, she served as the K-State Director of Parent and Family Relations, the University Coordinator for the Phillips 66 Shield Scholarship Program and Adjunct Instructor in the Staley School of Leadership Studies teaching the capstone course for Leadership Studies Minor students with a non-profit focus.

Prior to her current role, she spent 12 years at the KSU Foundation serving as Senior Director, Annual Giving & Student Life Programs. In this role, she directed the successful fundraising initiative to renovate East Stadium into the new K-State Welcome Center. During her tenure, Weixelman grew annual giving from $1.4M to more than $4M in seven years and drove strategy that increased faculty and staff giving participation from 16 to 43 percent. Her engagement in all aspects of development - from Annual Giving to Leadership Annual Giving to major gift development - has been significant and successful.

Her email address is mweixelman@kansas4hfoundation.org if you would like to leave her a message of welcome.

Callie Lehman was named to the Fund Development Team as Annual Giving Manager on August 30. She has four years of experience fundraising in annual giving at the Kansas State University Foundation where she was instrumental in managing the Telefund Program, which raised more than $2 million annually. Lehman also worked closely on integrated strategic solicitations in the mail and digital channels and served as a Leadership Annual Giving officer focusing on building a pipeline of donors.
