Shout Out: Christy Dipman
This week’s Shout Out comes to us from Extension Specialist and Interim Head of the Department of Plant Pathology, Dr. Megan Kennelly. She is sending this Shout Out to the Department of Horticulture and Natural Resources’ Christy Dipman. Dr. Kennelly writes…
"I'd like to give a Shout Out to Christy Dipman, Office Specialist III in the Department of Horticulture and Natural Resources. The Kansas Turfgrass Conference was held in Topeka for many years. This year the conference was held in Manhattan for the first time in a long time, at a new venue. Christy did an outstanding job coordinating all aspects of the venue change, leading the charge on food, lodging, convention logistics, changes to the trade show, and many other components. With a big conference of around 500 people and 4-5 concurrent sessions at a time, at a new place, there are lot of pieces to plan. The conference went smoothly, largely due to her amazing energy and attention to detail. Thank you Christy for all you do for the KSU turfgrass Extension team!"
Christy, here is your Shout Out. Thanks for the work you have done, do, and will do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues, and K-State Research and Extension!
If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues that deserve a Shout Out for a job well done, please send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ghadley@ksu.edu.
