Heartland Extension Disaster Education (EDEN) Webinar

Kansas is collaborating in a regional Extension effort funded through NIFA for the four state area of Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas Extension services to address potential natural disasters, their mitigation, and response efforts.

Please mark your calendars for the first Heartland Extension Disaster Education Network (Heartland EDEN) webinar – Linking Extension and Community Disaster Response: 2020 Missouri River Flooding Forecast – on February 27, at 9 a.m. CDT (8 a.m. MDT). Participants will learn more about the National Emergency Response Framework, the emergency response process and Extension’s role in it, health and safety considerations as well as learning about the 2020 Missouri River Forecast.
