Professional Courtesy Reminder
Specialists, please remember to contact the agents of the local Extension office whenever you have been invited to speak at a meeting, advise a constituent, facilitate a meeting, or conduct research in a county or district. Awkward situations develop when local residents ask about your work if the agent was never been informed of it.
Awkward situations also develop whenever specialists learn that someone external to our system was brought in to talk at a local Extension meeting. Agents, if you are bringing in an external speaker to cover a topic that one of our specialists covers, please inform that specialist of your plans.
