Helping Your Community Recover- Finding Grants

Submitted by Nancy Daniels

A Year From Now

The economic impact of this pandemic is hard to comprehend. What we already know is that organizations like ours, non-profits and Kansas PRIDE communities will need to find extramural (grant) funding.

According to The Foundation Center, $522 million in grants was awarded in Kansas in 2016, but many of us haven't even begun to tap into those resources.

Join a PIVOT Learning Group to learn K-State's online grant search tool. Because you are K-State faculty, PIVOT allows you to define a search and save it so that as new grants are announced, announcements are sent to your email. Once you learn, you can be a resource to others, sending them opportunities to find grants to meet your community's needs.

Two trainings are planned:  Tuesdays, April 21 and May 19, at 1:30 p.m. To be part of this training, contact Nancy Daniels at nkdaniels@ksu.edu.
