Shout Out: Cindy Evans, Marlin Bates and Jaime Menon
This week’s Shout Out comes from K-State Research and Extension Southwind District Director Carla Nemecek. Carla writes:
“I would like to send a Shout Out to the Community Vitality PFT members who are working on developing a new Signature Program, "Be a Part of the Story: Embracing Informal Leadership." I am working with Cindy Evans, Marlin Bates and Jaime Menon to create a signature program that will utilize new teaching methods to include a video series of short story case studies with examples of how informal leaders can help us all get the work done. This new curriculum will be launched in 2020, and available to all Extension Agents who have Community Vitality programming responsibilities.
I have really enjoyed working with this dynamic group of Extension leaders. Creating a new program has been time consuming and challenging, but most of all it has been rewarding to try something new and create new delivery methods for those who want to learn through digital platforms.”
Cindy, Marlin, and Jaime – thanks for all you do for the people we serve, your colleagues, and K-State Research and Extension.
If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues who you believe have gone above and beyond their call of duty, please email their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ghadley@ksu.edu.
