New Hiring Option for Local Units
Provost Taber has approved an exception to the hiring freeze as an option for local units to fill vacant positions. The KSU Contribution to salary will be $1,500, with the local unit providing the rest of the agent’s salary and 100% of the benefit cost. Local units can work with their Regional Directors to initiate a position search under this policy.
Once the hiring freeze has been lifted, the KSU contribution to salary and benefits will return to normal.
