Webinar Series on Water Resource Management and Irrigation Concludes
The final session of the virtual training series, “Water Resource Management and Irrigation in Kansas,” will take place this week on April 8, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
“Irrigating Lawns and Urban Water Conservation” will feature presentations from Dr. Cathie Lavis, Professor in K-State’s Department of Horticulture and Natural Resources; and from Holly Dickman, Water Conservation Specialist from the City of Hays. The session will focus on the critical components necessary to achieve the goals of irrigation efficiency and uniformity, as well as provide an overview of water conservation efforts in Hays.
This training theme, consisting of five sessions, is sponsored by the Natural Resources Professional Focus Team and KCARE. All sessions will be conducted via zoom as well as livestreamed on YouTube. Instructions on how to log in to zoom and livestream will be made available on the KCARE Training Events Website on the morning of the event, or interested participants can email kstatekcare@ksu.edu for login information.
