The Community Health Corner
According to the CDC, community health uses science-based approaches for the greatest health benefit to the greatest number of people by addressing the drivers that impact health. Changes in policies, systems and environments, settings are among the most effective ways to tackle big health issues. Being healthy is not just about individual choices, it’s also about the conditions that influence everyone’s health.

CELEBRATE NOW – April 5-11; National Public Health Week and World Health Day, April 7. Thanks to the work of state and local public health officials and allies confidence in COVID-19 vaccinations is increasing. After many hardships, hurts and uncertainties, celebrate and recognize that we all have a role in turning this corner for Kansas.
