Using Census Data to Drive Programming

Submitted by Nancy Daniels

US Census Bureau

On April 20, Jason Dean, a Kansas-based Census Outreach Specialist, presented training to K-State Research and Extension professionals. There are far more resources in the census data than many of us understood, including how to use geophysical data to chart your data onto a map. The recording of the training is posted on the Community Vitality MSTeams page for future reference; the PowerPoint is uploaded in Files.

Have you considered using this one-hour training for your community or interest group? Dean personalizes each presentation according to your interest area. Contact Jason Dean, Census Specialist; or Nancy Daniels, CV Specialist; for more information.
