Shout Out: Gregg Eyestone
This week’s Shout Out comes to us from K-State Research and Extension Riley County’s Gary Fike, and it is directed to Riley County’s Gregg Eyestone.
“Our horticulture agent, Gregg Eyestone, deserves a Shout Out. Gregg recently received the first ever Kansas Association of Conservation and Environmental Education Dave Colburn Green Apple Award. Gregg received the award for his work educating students of and supporting the Kansas Green Schools of Manhattan, which has led to increased environmental sustainability at the schools and in the Manhattan community.”
That’s quite an accomplishment and honor! Great job, Gregg! Thanks for all you do for the people we serve, your colleagues, and K-State Research and Extension.
If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues who deserve praise for a job well done, why not give them a Shout Out? Simply send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ghadley@ksu.edu.
