Barbara Roths, Butler County FCS Agent to Retire

Submitted by Andrea Perry

With a combination of happiness for her and sadness for us, the Butler County Extension Office would like to announce that Barbara Roths will be retiring August 20 of this year.

Barb has been an incredible asset in Butler County and to K-State Research and Extension. From her start as an Assistant Coordinator for the Kansas Nutrition Network to her current role as a Butler County Family Consumer Science Agent—her warmth and kindness has helped our office to reach out to our community in a meaningful way, and her service through extension has touched the lives of many for the past 22 years.

Please join us in celebrating Barb’s amazing career by sending cards and well wishes to Barb via mail or brought by the office. Cards can be sent to:

K-State Research and Extension – Butler County
206 N Griffith Street, STE A
El Dorado, KS 67042

Thank you, Barb, for your incredible contributions to our office, community, and to Research and Extension. We will certainly miss you, and we hope you enjoy your future adventures with your family during your retirement.
