Shout Out: Aimee Baker and Trisha Greene
The Shout Out this week comes from Bradford Wiles, associate professor and extension specialist in the Department of Applied Human Sciences and is directed to Aimee Baker, family and consumer sciences agent in Wichita County; and Trisha Greene, family and consumer sciences agent in 21 Central District, Kinsley office.
"They have both worked tirelessly in their communities to make a difference in the lives of children and families through serving as community champions for access to quality, affordable child care. Their work is nothing short of incredibly impressive, and their accomplishments can serve as a model to local community champions for communities to build early care and education capacity across Kansas. Both Aimee and Trisha have invested in these multi-year projects that have borne the fruit of their labors. They deserve public recognition for all of it."
Aimee and Trisha, thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues and K-State Research and Extension.
If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues who deserve recognition for a job well done, why not nominate them for a Shout Out. Simply send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ksreshoutout@ksu.edu. Also, it would be very helpful if you would put "Shout Out" in the subject line of the email.
