Thursday, September 16, at 10 a.m., ALL extension professionals are invited to attend the first-ever Kansas Leadership Center (KLC) Alumni meeting. The subject: “Making a Positive Transition to Camp 2022” using KLC principles.

The invitation is newly opened to ALL employees with the intention that alumni will practice the skills they learned at KLC and those who haven’t yet attended will see why they want to attend in 2022.

A one-time registration is required. The automatic confirmation will come from Nancy Daniels <no-reply@zoom.us>. If you don't get a confirmation, please contact Nancy at nkdaniels@ksu.edu.

Because this is designed as a safe place, the meeting will not be recorded.

The KLC Alumni meetings are designed as a quarterly series of facilitated discussions and small groups, where members will practice skills they learned in KLC training and find colleagues they can go to when they are stumped on leadership challenges in their own communities.

In addition to the alumni gatherings, a "KLC Alumni" MSTeams group has been assembled, where discussion can continue and professionals can ask for help with their challenges. If you participated in KLC training in another setting, please let Nancy Daniels know to be added to the group.

In our first three years of training, 79 unique K-State Research and Extension professionals have attended 111 KLC training classes with a value of nearly $94,000.
