Retirement Planning
During our state benefits update at annual conference, there were several questions about retirement planning. K-State’s Human Capital Services department has excellent retirement planning resources available, including a variety of checklists that can help you begin planning up to five years before you plan to retire. Check out HCS’ Retirement Benefits website for a host of planning tools and information.
Dustin Spear, Human Capital Specialist, can help answer specific retirement related questions for KBOR employees. Mary Gatza can help agents determine final retirement dates based on leave balances. Employees should notify their supervisor as soon as possible after a retirement date has been determine to provide adequate time for out-processing.
