Search Underway – Regional Extension Specialist for Family and Consumer Sciences, NW Research-Extension Center
Dan Devlin, Interim Head, Western Kansas Research-Extension Centers, has appointed a committee to conduct a nationwide search for the next Regional Extension Specialist for Family and Consumer Sciences for the NW Research-Extension Center in Colby, KS. The person selected for the position will provide leadership for Extension agents in NW Kansas providing research and evidence-based programming in FCS, including, but not limited to, family life, aging, nutrition, food safety, parenting, communication, financial management, leadership, health and safety. The person selected will provide transformational leadership and support for extension initiatives, including community-based education and policy system and environmental change approaches that address social determinates of health.
