Supporting the Accessibility Fund on Giving Tuesday

Submitted by Jake Worcester

Giving Tuesday 2022

Giving Tuesday is one week away! On November 29, many people will come together to philanthropically support the organizations they believe in, like Kansas 4-H!

Next Tuesday, you’ll be hearing from our Youth Philanthropy Ambassadors inviting your support to the Accessibility Fund. The Accessibility Fund will support the financial, physical, social and emotional needs of youth in order to provide even more youth with a meaningful 4-H experience. 4-H clubs across the state have a goal to raise $20,000 toward the Accessibility Fund this year.

Here are some examples of how clubs envision enhancing accessibility for current and future 4-H members:

● Providing financial assistance to cover the 4-H enrollment fee for a 4-H member in need
● Paving of trails at Rock Springs Ranch so a camper with physical limitations can participate in all camp experiences
● Sharing online access to educational programs for 4-H members across the state

I invite you to support clubs through this philanthropic initiative by joining them in making a gift to the Accessibility Fund. You can make a gift online at www.kansas4hfoundation.org/give/accessibility.

Combined with the generosity of others, your contribution will directly impact Kansas youth in all 105 counties!
