Extension Assistant Professor in FNDH Starts January 8

Priscilla Brenes has accepted the Extension Assistant Professor position in the Department of Food, Nutrition, Dietetics and Health. She will provide statewide programmatic leadership in nutrition and health promotion for youth and adults.

Dr. Brenes comes from Colorado State University, where she is currently an Assistant Professor. She earned her Ph.D., with an emphasis in Public Health Nutrition, in 2021 from Kansas State University and her MPH in 2017, also from K-State. She earned her B.S. in Human Nutrition and Dietetics in 2013 from the University of Costa Rica.

Dr. Brenes starts her appointment on January 8, 2023.
